Today would have been my grandmother Mary McLeod's birthday. She died a year ago this month. She was an amazing woman. She immigrated to the United States in 1964 and worked with my mother to get the rest of her family over here. She was very industrious and as one that did not drive, she walked and took public transportation everywhere. Happy Birthday grandma!
